Desc : Barah Aana is a comedy of real life, set in today’s Mumbai. The story revolves around three unlikely friends: a driver (Naseeruddin Shah), a watchman (Vijay Raaz), and a waiter (Arjun Mathur). The driver is an older man, stoic but dependable. The watchman, in his 30s, is a pushover at work but otherwise mischievous. The waiter is a young, swaggering chap, brimming with ambition. Living together, their different attitudes make for interesting banter. At some point, misfortune befalls the watchman and, due to a series of chance events, he stumbles into a crime. Striking upon a seemingly low-risk way to make good money, and discovering a new sense of self-confidence, he tries to entice the others to join him in a series of such crimes. Cat and mouse games ensue between the three as personalities change, but events soon spiral out of control, leading them in a direction none of them had wanted to take.

Desc : Going by the name anyone can conclude that the story is all about war. J P Dutta has tried to recreate battle maneuvers and comment on the futility of war. For once some sensible story line instead of all those masala mixes churned out of Bollywood. Infact, the story is inspired by the Longewala battle of 1971. In the opening reels, the director tries to introduce the various characters and their family lives. The army men’s background stories teem with the predictable marriage, an engagement ceremony that is of course interrupted by song and dance sequences. Songs and those gyrating dances are a must in our industry. Left to himself, probably Mr. Dutta would have focused entirely on the men in the war trenches but he has to cater to the commercial market. So, the second half gets down gritty to the business of re-enacting the battle between the outnumbered regiment against Pakistan's sophisticated weaponry and a huge taskforce. The war scenes are effectively picturised that it conveys the almost-suicidal heroism of our sentinels. Sunny Deol is okay, Sunil Shetty is likeable, Jackie has nothing much to do in this multi-starrer yet his handsome presence will definitely will make a difference and last but not the least - Akshaye Khanna is a scene-stealer. The music by Anu Malik is quite good. One of the songs from this album 'Sandeshey aate hai...' is very melodious. It is a must watch.

During his fifteen day roller coaster journey, Numair manages to take shelter in the Professor's house and wins the trust and fondness of the couple. While helping Numair to get an employment entry pass for 15th August celebrations at Red Fort, Professor Mathur introduces him to the warm and loving people of Chandni Chowk who coexist with fun, music, love and colorful events and festivals irrespective of their religion.Numair is astonished with some of the characters he meets in Chandi Chowk. These include Shagufta, a modern Muslim college girl, the Professor's sharp-tongued wife Roma, Rahat, a Sufi pop singer, Miya an 84-year-old who is full of patriotism and the fun loving Sardar Kirtan Singh. But for Numair, he must keep his mind focused on the mission as he struggles to carry out his orders from his superiors.Amidst all the tension, he is caught in an emotional dilemma whether to go ahead with his mission. Despite his deep-rooted fundamentalist beliefs, he sees this as one of the most colorful and loving areas. There is no black and white. Nevertheless he moves on with his mission. What is disturbing the mind of this young lad who has come here to attack? Doesn't the sacrifice of the Professor and his wife mean anything to him?

Roy repents but it seems like it's too late now. One day Roy bumps into Aditya "Dittu" Shrivastav who is an amateur conman. Dittu implores Roy to teach him the tricks of his trade, but Roy disagrees. One night, Roy collapses while crossing a road and visits Dr. Bhalerao for a medical checkup. It is revealed that Roy has a brain tumour and has very little time. He bumps into Dittu again and this time he agrees to take Dittu under his wing and teach him the basics of the art of conning. Together they zero in on a big "fish" - a shady hotel owner named Chandru and proceed to lure him into their master plan.
